A great place to stay. Rooms a little dated but very well maintained and clean. The housekeeping staff and the lounge (breakfast) staff are wonderful. We enjoy staying here and will be back (as always) when in town for family gatherings.
The staff is wonderful! Treats you like you afe special! Rooms are spotless and nicely decorated! Breakfast was great and lots of choices. Would highly recommend this to anyone!!
We have stayed at the Stone Gate Inn for many years and the staff has been outstanding the whole time. The hotel is privately owned/operated and you get a 'home-style' feel from the place. The rooms are nicely decorated, extremely clean and the hotel is central to so many things (a grocery store is next door). They have a shuttle service to and from the casino (although advanced booking is required due to limited seating). Their breakfast has a lot of tasty hot and cold items to chose from. My wife and I were on a vacation trip and in need of a nice place to stay for a night. Stone Gate Inn was the perfect place. You walk in to a beautiful and cozy lobby. The front desk staff were very friendly and got us checked right in! We had a single room with King size bed. Our room was clean and tidy, there was a kitchenette with sink, microwave, coffee maker, fridge and even dishes! The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was just cozy and we felt right at home. The shower had plenty of hot water and the towels were soft and very nice. They have a turn down service as well! Hors d'oeuvres are served at the lounge during happy hours. The lounge is comfortable and low key. I did not use the gym but they do have one and it looked very nice. After coming back from a lovely dinner out my wife and I spent a little time in the spa tub. It was wonderful! The pool is small but still room to swim about. Every member of staff we interacted with (desk, lounge, housekeeping) were super friendly, very accommodating and just made us feel welcome. Breakfast the next morning was surprisingly varied and fresh. My wife and I are already planning to stay here next time we are in the area. If your looking for, not just a place to stay but a place to remember, Stone Gate Inn is where you want to go.
