We were in Orillia to attend a concert at the Opera House and needed an affordable place to stay overnight and the Maples Motel was perfect! The small room was cozy and wonderfully clean. There was a small fridge and microwave, the owners provided ice when we checked in and were very kind and courteous and the mattress was the most comfortable we had ever encountered in a hotel/motel so we had a great night's sleep! Thanks so much!!!
The price is right considering the conditions of the room. Yet, I wonder it would not be so nice to stay during the summer time because the air conditioner is located in the bathroom. Yet, the good thing is that this motel is quite close to the lake. If you like to enjoy some quite time near the water, it's in a walking distance to lake and gorcey store.
Very clean, very comfortable and excellent service. I asked for extra pillows and blankets and the man behind the counter was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The bed was super comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave in the room too! An added bonus. Would stay again next time we are in town for a concert at Rama. Much cheaper and not far from the casino.
Very friendly and helpful owners and best price for the location. Close to everything and the lake. I stay there every time I visit with my kid's.
DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S COVER !! Looks can be deceiving! Small rooms with a tiny bathroom yes, but VERY clean, quiet area and comfy beds. Hot shower with great water pressure. Only a half size tub but it's clean! Has everything you need In the room. . Flatscreen tv, microwave, fridge, blow dryer, free Wi fi. Good room for the night and for the price. Very friendly manager too. Walking distance to Couchiching Beach with a gorgeous boardwalk!! And if you need food, there are a ton of restaurants a short drive away and a 24 hour Metro grocery store is right behind the motel. Definitely recommend :)
