This is about the franchise and my experience with both Barrie and Orillia: DO NOT GET YOUR BIKE REPIRED HERE - NEVER! Left my Viper Max, a derivative of an Emmo, there in the early winter of 2025., I finally got it back destroyed In September of that year,. They did not know what was wrong so started to pug and play with parts they had (not many in stock obviously). No knowledge whatsoever of what they were doing and obviously no test tools. When they gave it back they did so in pieces for me to figure. Many parts essential were missing such as the brake sensors, head lamp connections, turn signal indicators. Many many pieces but those weren't there. Then they said it was a fair trade to give it back to me this way. I should be thankful at no charge. I took the bike and al the parts to the parent store in Orillia. They would not touch it! Wires had been snipped and no way to see where they began from. It was like it was ripped apart by a ferocious beast, just a pile of parts like from a wreakers. I've been almost a year without. They don't care! The Barrie Boss, Andrew, said he will not task his apparently incompetent mechanic, to put in further time as he needs the guy to assemble the sale products out of boxes that are flying out the door. The only reason that I can't give less than a one out of five, though it should be negative 10 is that there is a knowledgeable sales person named Gray. That is why they are busy with lots of product. Thing is Gray can't help this, but can't help but to know. He is not allowed do say. He didn't I am. Shop there with Gray, but NEVER go back, You are on your own! I wouldn't do either. Toronto will deliver to Barrie for much less in total.+- they will come up here and take it back to their shop fix for real. Cherry e-Bike in North Toronto fixes anything e-bike and knows who to send you to for a new one.. This is a rip off store and for that matter so is the whole franchise, as the parent would not help even after I dove it all the way there. Then I dove it all the way to TO where CERRY fixed everything . It was only the controller in the bike at fault, not the lights, brakes or any thing else! (it should have been a $500 easy fix, I was told). Look at what they have and then buy it in Toronto! In Toronto they may charge you $100 for delivery to Barrie but that would be soo worth it! They had a chance to fix things but NOT! All they do is sell, make no mistake! Let these stores show the product. Go to Toronto Do not buy from Super Bike, Supper incompetent. Gread when it comes to a fix them. Toronto stores back up what they have even if it is in Orillia that we live and they come to.
They have decent stuff in there, But i went in and asked specifically for a half.link single speed bike chain and was given the wrong chain, ive been here before and never had problems with anything but their prices. Kinda steep prices, but makes up for the good service, other than the wrong part given
They sell a used bike in store and lied us the bike is brand new without any scratches, but when we drive around 100kms to the shop, they told us the bike has some damage on the frame. Don't believe the shop and don't go there to purchase any bike
This place is run by some of the most knowledgeable cyclists i have ever met, will return here for all future cycling purchases. That Thomas guy knows his stuff, and Erica helped me pick out the perfect bike for my build. I'd give it six stars if I could!
I found the employees to be incredibly rude and disrespectful. I will gladly take my biking business elsewhere. You can see for yourself as they reply in a snarky, childish and unprofessional manner to those who give poor reviews. Perhaps acting with some professionalism and replying with a customer service minded approach would be better suited for these crusty owners. Reply: How do you know I've never been in your store That's very assuming of you. Thank you for proving me and my review right. As a store owner you're delusional at best, what kind of professional writes 'LOL' Keep up the crusty attitude, it seems to be working for you. By replying the way you did it shows your level of maturity and lack of professionalism. Do you think your the only bike store around Get real 'LOL'
I needed a bolt for a broken bike seat on an old Specialized but of course when I got into the shop, the original bolt to be used as a size guide was missing from my pocket. The owners explained that there are a multitude of different bolt sizes. However the owner produced a bolt and said to try it. No charge! I was dumbfounded when the bolt turned out to be perfect! I was very pleased and amazed at their knowledge and super friendly service. I spent some time looking at their selection of bikes and was impressed. I will definitely use their services in the future!
