About the franchise name; Left my Viper Max, a derivative of an Emmo, at this Super E-Bike Orillia store in September of 2025 who would not touch it, instead believing it was hopeless, tried to sell me another. I had first taken it to Barrie Super E-Bike store all in one piece, just not working. When I got it back, months latter, wires had been snipped by the Barrie store and no way to see where they began from. Looked, like just a pile of parts like from a wreakers. The Barrie Boss, Andrew, said he will not task his mechanic, to put in further time as he needs the guy to assemble the sale products out of boxes that are flying out the door. After Orillia then, who then is responsible?! Where is the headquarters? Barrie doesn't care and Orillia claims no responsibility for their franchise name. Many parts essential were missing such as the brake sensors, head lamps and turn signal indicators. Many pieces but those weren't there. Barrie said it was a fair trade to give it back to me this way. I should be thankful at no charge. Some Toronto stores will deliver to Barrie for much less in total.+- they will come up here and take it back to their shop fix for real. Cherry e-Bike in North Toronto fixes anything e-bike and knows who to send you to for a new one. I dove it all the way to TO after this where CHERRY E-Bike fixed everything. It was only the controller in the bike at fault, not the lights or any thing else! (it could have been a $500 easy fix, I was told). Go to Toronto stores! In Toronto they may charge you $100 for delivery to Barrie but that would be soo worth it!
Dan was great fixed our kids atv within an hour very accommodating as he was busy opening the shop but still went out of his way. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Dan.
Awesome place to get any E bike. The team made my purchase a fast and seamless one and Great people to deal with. I would totally recommend buying here. They have a huge variety.
I have 4 batteries that power my trolling motor and one battery was pulling down the entire string. The staff at the Barrie store were very helpful at testing and pointing out the battery that was defective. They even changed the battery connection points so their meter would connect properly. They have so many neat products to check out. I will be giving them my business from now on, those Boomer Buggies are Amazing!!
NEVER BUY HERE EVER ! Super excited too get the new talaria sting mx-4 R. Get the go ahead and able to go pick up the bike within 2 days. The bike was already pre assembled and charged up when I got there I was hoping it would be still in the box and I would be able to assemble it myself. None the less that's fine I just hope I'm not charged any hidden fees for something I didn't ask for..$400. All I was told was take the bike nd have a good time with it... That's it no paper work no warranty run down nothing. which is great I took the bike, whatever! I was super excited to ride and the bike is everything I expected for the first few days. I finally put 300kms on my bike and figured I'd do the initial break in gear oil change.( Written in the manual with instructions, super easy for mechanically inclined people to do. So upon removing the drain plug for the first time ever in the bikes lifespan..... I noticed alot of aluminum on the drain plug? Basically Fist oil change and the threads came out with the plug not a good sign but most likely a factory defect on Talaria's end upon manufacturing the bike.... I felt horrible as I know I cannot run my bike with no oil or leaking gear oil because the plug would not tighten back up at all. I was told to bring the bike back to shop so I did. When I arrived I was told most likely it's not covered under warranty because I was tampering with my bike literally first thing said to me after... "what's wrong with it "??I was to bring it in for the oil change apparently, but no one ever told me anything about this. Meanwhile I'm being questioned why I'm doing a break in oil change at 300kms ?...... Long story short the bike was left there. Talaria has a 1 year warranty on all parts that need repaired due to regular maintenance but it has to go through the retailer. I haven't had a good vibe so far about this place, owner tried to make me feel like this was my fault for doing my oil change myself. This shop has many surrons and talaria's available along with so many more awesome Bikes but I do not suggest Association WITH THIS COMPANY AT ALL PERIOD FOR ANYONE !! 3 week update Other than talaria having a 2 week part back order sal got my bike in running order and its back working good this far? 4 month update WARNING!! NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE FOR ANYTHING DO NOT BUY EVER FROM HERE PERIOD. Drove my bike down to them for warranty inspection to get fixed. 12 month warranty on the suspension keep in mind. TOOK MY BIKE FOR JUST OVER A MONTH AND LITERALLY DID NOTHING OTHER THAN ASK ME IF I WANTED FREE SEALS AND THEN TRIED CHARGING ME WHAT THE SHOCK WAS WORTH TO SERVICE IT. (1.5HR JOB TOPS)$475....YA RIGHT ? I went to get my bike I was fed up completely. I was in touch with talaria had my shocks shipped to ebikezilla and getting fixed under warranty within 24hrs of picking up my bike..... Now it gets good. I figured I'd do my gear oil early since sal fixed it and replaced the cover....my gearbox had maybe 50ish ml put in it (70-90ml is spec) luckily he didn't get my gearbox brand new bike. I'm thinking or starting a lawsuit after discovering this. You think on a 7k product guy charges a $400 assembly fee and it comes basically assembled it's a rip off. I have 3 people that got their Surrons LBX from the same place, and they all say the same thing they regret it. Cost me 5 hours of my time and around $120 in gas drive+another 60 to mail my shock too ebikezilla after the fact. I will never recommend anyone and mentioned to talaria not too work with them as this whole experience has been a joke and I paid for my bike in full. Thanks Sal. Barrie Store is the way to go even tho it's co owned by sal I still wouldn't bother giving them service ever. Hopefully people read this and take my advice sorry if you don't that's on you. My Bike is almost MINT CONDITION. Talaria covered everything under warranty within 24hrs, and will have fork back in a week. I Will post updated pictures of how nice it really looks!
BEWARE!!! Don’t buy anything from this place unless you get your warranty in writing!! The owner of this store will change the warranty to meet his benefit, not you the customer. I bought a battery for my husband’s scooter 10 months ago, (10, 15/22), kept the charge up, stored the battery over the winter…all the proper care for a battery. Now the battery won’t hold a charge. Husband had a stroke and now when it’s really needed…the battery is junk. Called 3 days ago to speak to owner and now 3 days later after no return call, went into the store. Guess what!!! He said battery only has a 6 month warranty….used to be a 12 month warranty, but now it’s only 6 months. Is this because my paperwork says “Warranty as Noted on invoice” but there’s no time limit on my paperwork.?? Had a verbal from him that warranty was 12 months when I bought…paid over $400…but it’s not in writing. He did offer to do a test on the battery to see if it was faulty, and would MAYBE give me a discount on a new one. DO YOU THINK I WOULD BUY FROM HIM AGAIN?
DO NOT BUY ,, the owner is a scammer , I live in Waterdown and I was on a trip to orillia , got 2 GOTRAX APEX scooters ,, they played me with saying they charge 500 dollars for assembly and they charge 300 for admin fee and provide warranty that the manufacture do not provide which is one year on the scooter and 6 months on the battery , they asked me to Sign the receipt as it's a credit card so I did with out reading , after me and my wife drove for 30 min we stopped for a coffee then I looked at the receipt and notice it says NO REFUNDD AND FINAL SALE AND MENTION NOTHING ABOUT THE WARRANTY , I looked online I found the scooter at Best Buy for 429 with warranty and pre assembled I paid 1929 dollars for both that's an extra 900 dollars I got sooooooooo mad I called the store owner and he said no refunds even though the scooters were still new in my car 30 min later and he said they don't care how much is it that's how much they charge , calling my visa tomorrow and report his scam , and taking him to court and dragging him down to Hamilton for what he did , these guys are thief's and Liars and I bet there other reviews are fake
