Crank and sprocket are very fabulous people they do the right thing when people need help and also I am very astounded with the GT Avalanche I got they did very good job on it
The Crank & Sprocket is not only an amazing bike shop, but they are owners who support community and inclusion on the trails. On behalf of the Handcycling Club of Canada, we are grateful to them for supporting our fall aMTB Camp at Horseshoe and for feeding so many hungry riders lunch. Thank you so much!
Brodi Helped me to buy a specialized epic evo. Absolutely amazing service and these guys are ex racers so they know their stuff. They know the terrain you ride and will tell you what bike suits you and will fix it if it doesn't feel right! best bike shop I've been to hands down
Awesome customer service. Pricing wasn't too bad either.
What a class act! I came in with a big problem with my read hub...I had just driven up from Richmond Hill (well over an hour) to Hardwood and had not even made our first climb up the first hill of the trail when my bike began to make very bad sounds. I nursed it down the hill and went to ask the guy at the Pro Shop what he thought. He said he did not the parts and to head on into Orillia to The Crank and Sprocket and they would have a look. So we did just that and the owner said he unfortunately didnt have the parts to fix it but he did spend 40 mins trying his best to fix it. Now, I have left out a small (not so small) detail at this point. I was registered for a race at the hill the next day and this fateful day was meant to be for practice! Now my bike was out of commissionperfect. He asked me if I was local and I explained no I was not so I would not be leaving my bike with him. And despite taking my business elsewhere he reached into a drawer behind his counter and handed me 2 free rental vouchers to get a bike at the the hill. One for that day and another for the next day Race Day! I was floored. This is the kind of thing that gains very positive word of mouth about a small business. Not to mention he would not accept a penny from me for his time spent. I would encourage anyone in the area in need of bike service or equipment or a new bike take to your business to The Crank and Sprocketyou wont be sorry.
This kind of bicycle shop is what I'm looking for and I was right. Two pro cyclists run fantastic service/guide for my wife's bicycle and other needs. Nice location by the lake and awesome trails and you could rent bicycle all 4 season and enjoy riding. My boss(wife) likes her bike. Thumbs up!
Amazed how great this place is!!!! Quick service Tons of bike accessories. Friendly staff. Great rates on repairs. ( Cheapest in town) Very knowledgeable on bikes. Would recommend to everyone!!! I'll never shop elsewhere for biking.
Definitely the BEST place to take your bike! Been many times since opening for service and accessories. Jacob and Tristan have a great local business. Keep up the great work guys!
Great place, awesome service. These guys are fun AF!
Absolute top marks all around. I brought in my almost 20 year old Trek to ask if it was worth tuning up or if I needed a new bike. After asking a few questions about how, and how much, I ride, Tristan suggested the tune up. When I picked it up, the bill was very reasonable. And it feels like a brand new bike! Very very happy with the service and the work. And because of his integrity, I will absolutely be shopping there when the time comes for me to upgrade.
