Very very rude staff. Dirty old place and the roof leaks. I saw a mom get yelled at because her foot stepped over a piece of tape on the floor when she was taking a photo with her daughter. Another mother got yelled at because she went to pick up her son off of the skating area who was bawling his eyes out and hurt hurt his leg.. Awful place
So much fun! I hadn't been roller skating in many, many years - I went with my son we had a great time, great prices, good music, I would highly recomend going.
Came here for my little sister’s birthday. I just went and sat outside on the bleachers just in front. An abrasive lady came out and told us we weren’t supposed to be there because it’s a liability which is absolutely fine I had no problems moving she was just so rude for absolutely no reason!! I just didn’t realize so I just mentioned putting a sign so that people know. Her response was “the front says private property and it’s only open for the roller skating place and parking lot we shouldn’t have to put signs on everything”. It’s not putting signs on everything it’s putting one sign at the edge of the parking lot stating not to go beyond this point. I’m supposed to just know that I’m allowed to go over here but not over here? Could’ve just been dealt with a lot better on management’s part really disappointing. The whole issue could’ve been avoided with a simple sign. Edit: There wasn’t even a sign at the front that says private property?
Always a wonderful experience! Well-maintained and all equipment rented was well cared for. They played good music. Had yummy snacks. My daughter was given a pair of light up skates and it made her whole night!
Go back in time with this nostalgic trip back to the 80s! There's some pros and cons to this Roller Skating venue. PROs: Lots of parking, great sound & lighting system, patrons of all ages having fun, reasonable entry and concession stand prices. CONs: 40+ year old building desperately in need of repairs/renovation, no proper seating for spectators and old rental equipment. Some of the "vintage" elements add to the experience and some unfortunately do not.
Amazing! Family friendly, practical, well-priced. Truly felt like an old school roller rink UPDATE: wish it was open in the summer too, but nevertheless we're happy it's open again for the season! The volunteers are amazing - so kind and friendly. My daughter loves going here and loves to try and copy the tricks the volunteers do on the rink and loves that they're so fun and encouraging to her. Great work to everyone involved!!
A wonderful place with wonderful staff, and a great way to spend time with family and friends. Long live roller skating! Long live The Roller Skating Place!
