Came in for breakfast late on a Sunday afternoon about a half hour before close. We were greated graciously and never felt rushed. Waitress was very kind, our breakfast food came out quick. Coffee was fresh and hot. Loved the peppers and onions that come with the homefry potatoes. Clean and cute interior, diner feel reminds me of places my grand parents used to take us kids growing up. Great prices, would love to see what else they have on the menu for lunch time. Only thing I will say is the bacon was quite overdone but I prefer it over under cooked. Food also didnt make us feel sick, overly full, tired or sluggish- which is normal for greasy spoon type restaurants. Will be back! :)
A mom and pop type restaurant, the type which are disappearing sadly, with an awesome breakfast. I have not yet tried the lunch menu but have had breakfast several times. Great food, excellent prices, wonderful staff. Do try the homemade beans when they are available.

Every table was full when I went in for an early lunch. The staff said that I could take a seat and that a table would soon be available. They were right. I was told not to feel bad about sitting at a big table by myself but the staff assured me that it was okay. And it was. Service was quick. The staff attentive and the food was very good. I highly recommend 'FRIENDS' as a family friendly place to eat.
Have been for both breakfast and lunch. When we went for lunch, I had a reuben with fries, it was yummy! My daughter had the kids hot dog and said it was the best ever! I took a kids chicken finger meal to go and it was real breast meat! When we went for breakfast I had the eggs benidict and it was good. The home fries are a bit different than you would expect, but they are good. Service was great. We'll be back!
