Full of light and art to enjoy. The library offers programming for all ages.
It's a nicely set up library. There is an area where you can buy used books and videos by the check out counter. Vagrants loiter here frequently so it's a bit of a turn off. There is no sitting on the floor allowed because people kept sleeping. There has been problems with bed bugs in the past - it happens at all libraries (but they keep it quiet) however, they do their best to keep up with pest control. There are clean public restrooms. Staff is friendly.
Staff are always helpful and go the extra mile or two or three! Kids area is especially engaging helpful patient and kind. Excellent community space. Always an engaging activity to entertain and teach and explore new learning. Quite a few homeschool students and groups during the week who are equally engaged friendly and helpful, of all ages. Definitely a gem for those seeking community engagement interaction and socializing. Great space for small children toddlers and babies. Very grateful to have OPL & staff as a community hub and resource!!
Absolutely lovely new library building which was aesthetically designed with focus on community and function. The court yard outside has a lovely reading area. Inside, the children's section is located on the main floor, along with community / meeting rooms. Upstairs provides space for the rest of the library's collection and computer use.
Lovely place for a read but the inside ramp could have been designed better or eliminated completely by making the place all one floor on the main floor.
