I love that Orillia has a Costco! The on floor staff are friendly and helpful. However, I had an interaction with one cashier and it has put me off of wanting to go back. I realized customer service can be challenging and isn't for everyone. Maybe she was having a bad day. However, I've worked customer service before and I could never imagine being so rude to a customer.
Up until today, had great service. But today, Ken the tire shop Manager, refused to fill our propane tanks because we brought one too many. We live forty minutes away and could not easily rectify the situation. Unwilling to just fill five, decided he had the legal right to enforce the law and refuse service unless we left one tank behind. So we gave a tank to a fellow patron in the parking lot rather than waste the trip. Wouldn't buy anything from this guy. Costco is known for good tire pricing, yet wouldn't dare trust the manager.
Excellent customer fulfillment, well lit store indeed this is the place to shop for food and cloths, cant beat the meat (excellent) a 10 + you gotta shop here.
The new store is laid out very nice, some of the staff seemed very rude, I'm sure the stress of the new store is overwhelming. I was dressed in dirty coveralls as I'm a mechanic working the day I was there, so I was judged by my appearance. I was disgusted at how the sample food staff were treated by their supervisors. One lady was talking very rude to the servers, while another supervisor was openly spying on the servers. Give me a break! They are serving samples not handling gold bullion! A little power hungry?A friend was in the store on the first day and saw a supervisor take away the servers drink from her work station and throw it in the garbage. What right does this person have to throw someones personal stuff in the garbage. Good luck to Costco in Orillia , I'm sure it will be a great store
