Just want to say a huge shout out to the owners of Orillia bowl, Kathy and Andy for their huge support and dedication to help people in our community when called upon. The whole staff went above and beyond to help us fundraise for friends and family that were in need. I am sure that their welcoming attitude and amazing service bleeds through to every customer that goes through their doors and if you have yet to go through those doors you absolutely should because bowling with friends is way more fun than you can imagine or remember! Great owners and staff!!! Atmosphere, cleanliness, and the ease of using the lanes and scoring system make us await our next excursion to Orillia and fit in some time on the lanes!!
Always a great time! Very friendly staff, good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Joined the Thursday evening league 3 years ago and having great fun and meeting fabulous people! In response to V. Sterlings review........my opinion only......to bring a 'guide dog' to a bowling alley, which is loud by the nature of the sport, along with the music and (sometimes) strobe lights....is very inconsiderate, inappropriate and is an overstimulating setting for any beloved dog......
Great place to have fun with your friends and family! Andy and Kathy are great to deal with and always give us a few extra mins to finish our game. Great alley food and great atmosphere! Not sure what's with the negative feedback on the dog issue or why it's an issue, owners have rights just like anyone else does. Demoralizing someone that works behind the counter, Jamie, is ridiculous.... Give your head a shake bud! All and all love going to this great local establishment!
Orillia bowl has always been a fantastic place to bring my family. With exceptional service and amazing food. After reading a few of the recent reviews. I would have to highly disagree with the complaints. A bowling alley is certainly not the best place to bring a service/companion dog. With loud music, strobe lights and the balls crashing down the lanes. It’s enough to create a very unsafe environment regardless of training for any animal. And as far as I’m concerned. Any owner has full rights to maintain a safe environment and withhold standards for there establishment. And the cherry on top. Attacking a staff member on a google review based on there appearance shows more about the persons integrity then the google review itself. I would give orillia bowl 5 stars any day of the week. Everyone who worked there besides a clearly new employee was incredibly rude to my 14 year old brother. I’ve never been in an environment where the employees simultaneously took their jobs way too seriously but had no consideration for their customers accommodations. It makes sense why I always see them hiring.
